A recent bump in both delivery personnel and range at TWO BOOTS (514 Second Street, 718-499-3253) means it doesn’t take long to get a quirky Cajun-spiced Cobb salad with green onion dressing and sliced avocado for $10, the exact minimum for delivery. Creamy mashed potatoes with lots of butter ($3.25) make a good carb-loaded side dish. Want protein? Try the spicy fried chicken($11.95) or the barbecued shrimp ($7.95). Surprisingly decent pizza ($6.95to $23.95) includes a “pizza face” for children and toppings like soppressata, smoked mozzarella or goat cheese.
